Cole Architects welcomes Philip O’Connor as project architect + BIM manager. He joins the firm with 14 years of experience in architecture and structural engineering, and a background in building information modeling. His new role will include developing Revit standards, content development, managing production of architectural models and implementing improved company processes. He is an Idaho-licensed architect and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho.
In addition, the company has announced the expansion of its leadership team by promoting Tim Grissom and Ian Hoffman to principal partners, joining managing principal Matt Huffield. They will be involved in firm management and various projects, overseeing design, production and operations.
Previously, Grissom served as senior project architect at Cole, where he has led a variety of projects such as HD Fowler Offices, Riverside Hotel Engineering Building and Functional Medicine of Idaho’s Meridian Office. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho and serves on the Idaho Board of Architectural Examiners.
As a senior project architect at Cole, Hoffman has led a multitude of projects, notably the recently completed Ronald McDonald House in Boise and the Pet IQ Headquarters in Eagle. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon, is involved in the Idaho AIA Central Board of Directors and is the AIA Idaho State Disaster Assistance Coordinator.
