The Boise State University Foundation has named four new members to serve on its board of directors. They will serve three-year terms. Boise State University Foundation volunteer board members guide and advise the foundation to help ensure long-term financial support for generations of students. Brandy Stemmler, board executive chair, praised the new board members’ talent and skills.
Cheryl Larabee is a lecturer emerita with the Boise State University College of Business and Economics. She previously served as the associate vice president for the Division of University Advancement at Boise State following a 24-year career in corporate banking. Her work at Boise State included development efforts for the Micron Business and Economics Building and teaching business to first-year students in the Skagg’s Hall of Learning. Larabee currently serves on the boards of Norco Inc. and the National Association for Corporate Directors. She is the previous board chair of ZAGG, Inc., Capital City Development Corporation, Arid Club, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Downtown Boise Association and Hays Shelter Home. She also served on the boards of Jacksons Food Stores, Syringa Bancorp, Healthwise Inc. and Bogus Basin Ski Resort.
Bruce Mohr is a founding partner with Buffington Mohr McNeal. He received a bachelor’s degree from Boise State and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Oregon. While at Boise State, Mohr was active in the Honors Program and currently serves on the advisory board to the Honors College. He has served on various volunteer boards, including Boise Contemporary Theater, Boise City Arts Commission, Ballet Idaho, Morrison Center Endowment Foundation, Boise Nationals Soccer Club, Hillcrest
Country Club and Southminster Presbyterian Church.
Brent Moylan is the SVP & CFO J.R. Simplot Company. He started with the company in 1986 after spending some time in public accounting, and has worked in various finance positions within the Simplot Company from 1986 to 1998. Over the following years, Moylan gained operational finance experience at two mid-sized companies in the Treasure Valley. He re-joined the J. R. Simplot Company in June of 2008 as the food group controller and later as the vice president of finance for the same group. He was appointed to SVP & CFO of the Simplot Company in the fall of 2019. Moylan also is active with the local YMCA as a board member and sits on their Strategic Planning Committee. He is a graduate of Boise State.
Rick Pedigo is president and CEO of Pedigo Products Inc. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration while working full time for the family business. Two of his three children graduated from Boise State University. Pedigo and his wife are avid Bronco fans as they follow and support Boise State athletic teams by attending games, fundraising events and donating medical products to the School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences and Department of Athletics.
