George Skandalos – Powerlist – 50 Most Influential Business Leaders in Idaho

George Skandalos is an advocate for community development around Idaho. After being raised in Greece and Peru before settling down in California, his introduction into the world of business began when he helped his mother open a Peruvian restaurant in Southern California. He fell in love with the restaurant business and after learning to cook Peruvian food, he traveled around two continents to welcome others into the Peruvian culture through unique culinary experiences.

Today, Skandalos and his business partner own and operate their own Peruvian restaurant, Sangria Grille in Moscow. In tandem with this, Skandalos serves on the board of directors for FARE Idaho as the co-secretary, an organization that he helped found. An all-around advocate for community development and collaboration in Moscow and across the state for his industry, he is also an executive member of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center board of directors.
