The Treasure Valley Family YMCA has shared an update on its fundraising progress as well as some planned innovations for the future Downtown Boise YMCA.
The organization has set a goal of raising $60 million to build the new space and it continues to collaborate with architectural and development partners to map out a facility that will meet the needs of a growing and changing community. The organization has reached a milestone of $16 million in fundraising for this project.
“During this season of giving and gratitude, we are humbled to reflect on the tremendous support we’ve received,” said YMCA CEO David Duro in a statement. “Community members, individuals and cause-minded businesses continue to come forward with support for our vision, mission and values. We look forward to putting in the work to ensure we build a Y that will serve this amazing community for years to come.”
