The vertical construction of a luxury apartment building in downtown Boise was completed, adding to the city’s ever-increasing skyline.
The Arthur, as the structure has been dubbed, was topped at 26 floors. The milestone in the construction of the building was marked by a ceremony and luncheon for workers on the project.
“Our family has a long-standing connection to Boise, and we are thrilled to bring world-class living to the city and to thank and celebrate the hard work and dedication of all the building trades,” said Skip and Doug Oppenheimer of Boise-based Oppenheimer Development Corp.
The building is located at 12th and Idaho Streets and will include 298 residential units, retail space on the ground floor, covered public parking, a rooftop “green space” and access to high-end amenities.

According to Oppenheimer Development, the building was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Associates, drawing “inspiration from the Sawtooth Mountains and the immediately surrounding urban context.”
Each residential floor has been designed to provide views of the foothills, mountains, the Boise River, the greenbelt and the area’s parks and cityscape. It is being constructed by a partnership between Power Construction and McAlvain Construction.

Pre-leasing on the units begin this fall and construction will be completed by early 2025.
