When she was 14, Mallisa Jackson crafted a personal mission statement.
“I am going to be the best version of myself, for myself. I am going to show people that they can do anything that they put their minds to regardless of other people’s opinions, limitations or oppressions.”
These words still guide nearly every choice in her life to this day and helped guide her in launching Mallisa Jackson Premier Realty earlier this year.
“Having a mission statement on how I live life and truly experiencing how short it can be firsthand allows me to connect, be inspired, be inspiring and not quit because I know that life is bigger than just us,” she said.
She also draws inspiration from the end of a poem she wrote as her career began to flourish: Most things in life are a temporary loan, your character and integrity are all you truly own.
Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate degree in accounting, both from Independence University, and said she strives to assist people from all walks of life by teaching economics, finances, motivation and mental resilience.
Logan Wheeler, a retail associate with Colliers, said Jackson’s work ethic is unmatched and that she’s been an incredible friend and mentor to him.
“I stepped into Mallisa’s office as a young intern and was immediately met with immense kindness and energy. From that day forward she has been my No. 1 supporter and provided me with more knowledge and advice than I could ever ask for,” Wheeler said. “I feel incredibly lucky to have a mentor in my life who is dedicated to my success arguably more than I am.”
Frank White, president of Frank White International, calls Jackson a community leader who is a voice for people.
“She is an advocate and supporter for several charities and seems to be the first to raise her hand to assist others,” he said. “In addition, she has developed herself as a leading commercial real estate representative where she has garnered the respect of her peers as well as leading national retail leaders.”
Michael Mateen said that in his role as the national real estate manager for the McDonald’s Corporation, he works with many commercial real estate brokers across the country and that Jackson possesses exceptional market knowledge and genuine personal and professional integrity.
“She is very personable, genuine, dependable and extremely hardworking,” Mateen said. “Beyond that, she is an impressive problem solver who can address complex issues strategically in the commercial real estate industry.”
Jackson said she would like to transform the speaking industry and uplift more powerful women speakers.
“I want to be the female Tony Robbins, traveling the world and helping people on that scale,” she said. “I want to teach people money, financial freedom and independence.”
