The success of 3 Girls Catering is attributed to hard work, being fair and caring and taking no flack, its owners, Lisa Mason, Gretchen Talbert and Sara Trapp said. The award-winning catering company has been going strong for two decades, despite not being taken seriously when it began by the male-dominated industry.

“Over time, we were recognized for our hard work, scratch-made menu items and support of local farmers, wineries, musicians [and more],” the owners said.

The company hires both men and women but stated when they hire women they believe they are more understanding and flexible when it comes to the schedules many women face due to family priorities.

“By understanding what it takes to raise a family, we develop a stronger camaraderie and our team is willing to work extra hard for our business,” they stated.
