It’s the time of year when small businesses are honored by a local business advocacy organization, highlighting the efforts of these companies throughout the Boise region.
The Boise Metro Chamber unveiled the finalists in its 2025 Small Business of the Year and Chamber Excellence Awards on May 28. The awards ceremony with a tradeshow will take place on June 16 at Boise Centre West, where the winners will be announced.
“This year’s finalists truly encompass the industry they represent, showcasing their innovation, resilience and impact,” said Bobbi-Jo Meuleman, president and CEO of the chamber. “With the addition of two new Small Business of the Year categories and the Community Engagement Excellence Award, we celebrate a broader range of achievements that reflect the dynamic spirit of our business community.”
The finalists for the 2025 honors are as follows:
Small Business of the Year (11-50 employees): Blue Gander Window Cleaning, Graeber & Co. and Adler Industrial.
Small Business of the Year (10 employees or less): The Farm, Atlas Strategic Communications and Red Sky.
Community Engagement Excellence Award: First Interstate Bank, Albertsons, Idaho Housing and Finance Association.
Financial Services Industry Excellence Award: Idaho Housing and Finance Association, CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP and ICCU.
Food & Agriculture Industry Excellence Award: Telaya Wine Co., Thomas Cuisine and Lee’s Candies.
Healthcare Services Industry Excellence Award: Intermountain Hospital, Your Health Idaho, BPA Health.
Nonprofit Excellence Award: NeighborWorks Boise, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce.
Jim Moore Lifetime Legacy Award for Excellence in Travel and Hospitality: Enterprise Mobility, Velma V. Morrison Center for Performing Arts and Boise Centre.
There will also be an induction into the Chamber Hall of Fame and the recognition of the Government Advocate of the Year. Past inductees to the hall of fame include Odette Bolano, Skip Oppenheimer, Ray Stark and several others.
The tradeshow will run from 11 a.m.-noon, and the award show and luncheon will take place from noon-1:30 p.m. on June 16 at Boise Centre West, 850 W. Front Street in downtown Boise. To attend, visit boisechamber.org.
