Building on the momentum of 2024, 39 projects from around Idaho are in the running for Idaho Business Review‘s 2025 Top Projects.
IBR revealed the selections for Top Projects on Aug. 15, and the winner of the Project of the Year will be announced at the 21st annual Top Projects awards event on Oct. 16, along with the top three projects in each category. A special publication profiling the projects will also be available at the event.
Projects are considered for one of five categories: Infrastructure/Utility; Private; Public; Renovation; or Transportation. Last year’s winner of Project of the Year the Idaho Outdoor Field House in the private category and located in Boise. The build cost more than $1 million.
To be considered for an award, the project must have been built in Idaho — substantially completed between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025 — and valued at more than $1 million in construction costs.
The People’s Choice award will also be announced at the event. The award winner is based on results from online voting that runs from Sept. 8 through Sept. 26 at idahobusinessreview.com. The award is sponsored again by Idaho Power.
Idaho Associated General Contractors is once again sponsoring the Specialty Contractor of the Year award, now in its sixth year, which will also be announced during the awards ceremony. The 2024 recipient was Rocky Mountain Electric.
The 2025 Idaho Top Projects awards event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2025, at Boise Centre East in downtown Boise. To attend, purchase a ticket at https://idahobusinessreview.com/event/tp/
