At Faces of Hope, empowering people — especially women — is at the heart of everything they do. Since 2016, the organization has provided a safety net to more than 10,000 people experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking or human trafficking. In the past year, the organization has seen a 52% increase in individuals served, with approximately 80 people served each week. Faces of Hope, which is led by a female executive leadership team and a majority-female board of directors, model compassion, strength and integrity, aims to help individuals move from crisis to confidence.

Paige Dinger, executive director at the organization said, “We are intentional about creating opportunities for women to grow professionally and personally. We mentor and promote from within, ensuring that the women who start in advocacy or support roles have a clear pathway to leadership and development.”

Professional development also happens through trauma-informed leadership training which equips women to lead with empathy, clarity and strength, as well as through clinical supervision and peer mentorship. The organization also creates space and nurturing environments for conversations that elevate the voices of women of color, LGTBQ+ women and others from marginalized communities.

Looking ahead, Faces of Hope plans to expand its services to rural communities in Idaho, enhance membership and professional development opportunities for staff with a focus on women from marginalized backgrounds, and further strengthen community partnerships to reduce barriers for survivors.

“At every level — from workplace culture to community outreach — Faces of Hope is committed to advancing equality, amplifying women’s voices and creating a safer, more just Idaho for everyone,” Dinger explained.
