Nampa’s Franz Witte Landscaping names new CEO and president

A company started in 1971 is making changes to its , naming a longtime president as the outfit’s new CEO.

Franz Witte Landscaping, looking toward continued growth as it begins its 55th year in business, has named Seneca Hull as its newest CEO. It has also named Toby Mancini as president of the garden-centric company.

Hull has served as the Franz Witte president for 18 years and Mancini has worked for the company in several roles for the past decade, having been in for a total of 37 years. Before being promoted to president, he was the company’s operations manager.

Company founder Franz Witte is still deeply involved with the business and will continue his role as the chairman of the company’s board.

“At the age of five, Seneca watched as the first nursery was built on our old State Street property,” Witte said about the new CEO. “Over the years she has developed her own capable leadership style, always focused on our people and our purpose.”

According to the company, Hull has held several roles within Franz Witte Landscaping and is active in many industry associations.

But, she pointed out, the business she now leads has always gone beyond yard care.

“Franz Witte has always been about more than landscapes ― it’s about people and community,” Hull said. “I’m excited about the future of our company and honored to step into the role of CEO. Together with Toby and our outstanding officers and owners, we will continue building a company our employees are proud to be part of and that our customers trust.”

Mancini, who now has shareholder stake in the company, is known for his leadership and organizational skills.

“Our team is what makes Franz Witte special,” he said. “My focus is on supporting our people, delivering exceptional service to our customers, and continuing to execute the vision for where this company is headed.”
