Bill Banta

As the CEO of DECKED for the last four years, Banta is taking what began from a napkin sketch aimed at organizing the chaotic mess of a pickup truck bed to grow the company to now serve the largest fleets in America. In short, he is helping guide his team to work to-ward his vision of continuing to build an iconic and durable brand.

I constantly test our product assumptions to ensure we are building a portfolio that exceeds the expectations of our cus-tomers.”

Banta shares that he believes that to lead a world-class organization, he must first hold himself to the same high standards that he expects from his team. He also focuses on be-ing present for his family, getting out into nature and serving with charitable organizations — which he does at Angel Flight West.

He also says that at DECKED the larger community is also a core part of operations.

“We support the ‘American Worker,’ providing essential storage equipment for first re-sponders, active military and disaster relief organizations across the country. Locally, we are invested in the Ketchum and Wood River Valley areas, supporting land conservation, youth sports and fostering the next generation of Idaho’s entrepreneurial talent. We believe that a company’s strength is measured by the impact it leaves on the places its employees call home.”

Looking ahead, Banta is excited about what’s ahead for the company he is honored to be a part of.
