Frontier adds new Boise routes to Las Vegas and Oakland

Looking to offer more high-value air travel options to more travelers, will begin flying two new routes this summer connecting area travelers with flights between , and , California.

Beginning Sept. 10, Boise area travelers can fly directly to Las Vegas with flights available four times weekly. In August, the airline will also begin flying 11 routes weekly between Las Vegas and Oakland.

To help celebrate the expanded service, introductory flights for both routes are being priced at $49, with no requirement for a round-trip purchase.

“We are delighted to announce these new routes and our return to Oakland, offering high-value travel options to Nevada, Idaho and California,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design for the airline.

Other changes from Frontier include what the carrier has dubbed as , which includes enhancements in UpFront seating that features extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of its aircraft. Customers seated in these rows can now enjoy the extra space in a window or aisle seat along with a guaranteed empty middle seat.

“We are laser-focused on redefining what consumers can expect from , from our expansive network map to the premium upgrades we offer,” Flyr said. “We look forward to providing consumers with affordable flight options on these new routes.”

Frontier also now offers unlimited for its most loyal customers, the flexibility to choose a different companion on every flight. The airline is also expected to debut later this year, combining “unmatched” comfort and space with the company’s trademark affordable prices.
