The Idaho Foodbank hosted a special event with the Boise State University Broncos on April 9 to celebrate Boise State’s spring football game and help launch the Foodbank’s effort to raise enough funds to provide one million meals in April.
Albertsons and Agri Beef provided food and there was a raffle and tours. Fans also met members of the Boise State Broncos football team and spirit squad.
The Idaho Foodbank announced the Girl Scouts in the Silver Sage Council donated 9,800 boxes of Girl Scout cookies and the United Dairymen of Idaho contributed milk to go along with each box of cookies. Those donations were topped off with $25,000 raised through Albertsons’ Moo Bucks Milk Drive.
