With a focus on finish carpentry services, including installing molding, door and window frames, wainscotting, window casings and more, JS Trim Carpenters got its start from family motivation.

Founder Sergio Olivas was working as the supervisor for a manufactured homes construction company while trying to provide for his three children. As he was struggling to make ends meet, he made the decision to start his own finishing business.

Challenges have come in the way of billing, taxes, insurance and payroll, but Olivas asked for help and persevered through trial and error. Learning to delegate and outsource, He now focuses his energies on business development, employee training and making sure the company achieves “operational excellence.”

Olivas’ brother, Saul, is a partner and crew lead. Cousin Fernando works on the installation crew. The goal is to have three consistent crews always working.
