For those looking to earn a degree in business and being able to stay close to home, the approval of a new bachelor’s degree program offers more options for students.
Recently, College of Western Idaho received approval from the U.S. Department of Education for its new Bachelor of Applied Science, Business Administration Degree program. It is the first bachelor’s degree program the school has offered.
According to the school, the degree is designed to help students advance in their leadership and management roles. The program gives students “the business skills and education needed to excel in today’s competitive job market.”
Classes for the program are slated to begin in the fall 2025 semester.
“Launching CWI‘s first bachelor’s degree will open new opportunities for students ― at community college pricing,” said Gordon Jones, president of CWI.
The program offers an education in business operations, strategic planning, leadership and financial management. More information on the program can be found on CWI’s website. https://cwi.edu/program/business-administration
