Small businesses, nonprofits and other organizations were celebrated at an event on June 16 that also included the induction of the 25th person to a hall of fame.
The Boise Metro Chamber held its annual trade show and awards luncheon at Boise Centre, naming Scott Madison as its 2025 Chamber Hall of Fame Inductee.
Madison, now retired, was the executive vice president, business development and gas supply for the MDU Utilities Group, which includes Intermountain Gas Company, Cascade Natural Gas Corporation and Montana Dakota Utility Company.

“Scott’s commitment to the Boise Metro Chamber spans many years,” said Bobbi-Jo Meuleman, president and CEO of the chamber. “During his tenure with Intermountain Gas Company, he prioritized the company’s involvement in the chamber, serving as board chair and making significant contributions to the business community.”
Along with Madison’s induction, Tom Mortell, a partner at law firm Hawley Troxell, was named as the chamber’s 2025 Government Advocate of the Year.

“Tom Mortell has been a longstanding supporter of the chamber, serving as chamber board chair, Boise Valley Economic Partnership board chair, policy chair and consistently championing initiatives that strengthen Boise’s business community,” Meuleman said.
