Meal Ticket raises money to fund growth

Meal Ticket, a Boise technology company that provides analytics and marketing support to food service distributors, has reported raising $674,623 in equity. Company CEO Wink Jones said that money will fund growth and execution of its services.
“We’re still building out our software, going to market and adding new customers,” Jones said. Meal Ticket provides software and data analysis that helps food distributors sell to restaurants, recently launching a product that helps food producers offer discounts to restaurants. Jones said the company is working on new products, but it’s in “stealth mode” with the details. Meal Ticket currently has about 16 employees, Jones said.
Jones said the money came from previous investors, most of them out-of-state angel investors. According to filings with the SEC, Meal Ticket offered just over $1 million in equity, bringing in the $674,623. Last year, the Boise company reported two offerings to the SEC, reporting $560,000 in equity sold in January and $474,959 in November.
