The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council has received $3,500 from Micron Technology Foundation to be used toward science, technology, engineering, and math programs and activities for Girl Scouts and troop leaders in Treasure Valley.

The funds have been used to offset expenses associated with the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage’s “Explore Your World” STEM Day, held May 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Boise. The event featured hands-on STEM exhibits from more than 20 local organizations. Funds will also support a special event for local Girl Scouts at the Discovery Center of Idaho.
