Every year, Idaho‘s Top Projects awards highlight some of the most innovative and best builds from throughout the state, showcasing the hard work and dedication put forth by architects, developers, construction companies and subcontractors.
This year promises to be no different, and there is still time to get projects nominated before the June 26 deadline.
There are five categories into which projects can be nominated: private building, public building, infrastructure/utility, transportation and renovation.
To be nominated for this year’s honors, projects are required to have been built in Idaho between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026. Projects must be commercial but can be multi-family apartments, senior living and condominium developments. The construction cost of the builds must be valued at $1 million or more and does not include the price of the land or other costs.
Past honors include law enforcement buildings, major highway builds, a nonprofit camp, apartment structures and many others. Last year’s Top Project was the Arthur luxury apartment building in downtown Boise.
The top three winners in each category will be honored at this year’s event on Oct. 8 from 5:30-8 p.m., along with the project of the year, the specialty contractor of the year, and the people’s choice award. A special publication to commemorate the honorees is also published.
