More than 100 kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County are learning how to code on computers this summer, courtesy of Khan Academy and the J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation.
The free program uses a coach to teach kids the fundamentals of computer programming.
The kids are not graded on their work, said Kevin Garrett, technology director of the Clubs in Ada County.
Khan Academy and CodeWorks visited the Moseley Center in Ada County on July 15 to help the children create new animations. Each participant received a certificate and a prize.
