A longtime resident of northern Idaho, Ian Swanstrom loves connecting people to their forever homes in Idaho, with a focus on new construction sales for Greenstone communities. Having grown up in the state, he understands well what makes the residential real estate market tick. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for the area with his clients, and lives by a humble motto of integrity that translates to simply doing the right thing by each client, every time.

As a real estate agent at the Coeur d’Alene office of Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty, Swanstrom focuses on building relationships with clients as the key to finding a home that fits their lifestyle and budget. Clients say his dedication for connecting with people is evident — it goes into every facet of the real estate transaction.

In 2021, Swanstrom assisted in the sale of more than 100 new construction homes, resulting in many happy families and a few new Idaho residents. Particularly special was helping his parents purchase and build their new Greenstone home in Post Falls.

Swanstrom earned an undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Idaho and worked in lending for a time. This expertise and his understanding of the local market
dynamics help clients to get the most out of their home search or sale.

Outside of work, in 2022, Swanstrom plans to be more intentional with the important relationships in his life and spend quality time with his wife of 13 years and their three daughters — on the water, traveling and coaching kids sports.
