It seems that one cannot open the pages of Idaho Business Review without reading some mention of the state’s workforce.

It’s an ongoing dilemma.

With more people exiting the workforce through retirement, self-employment and other avenues, and less people entering specialized fields to replace them, business owners, educators and community leaders have started working together to solve the issue.

Where once there was a push to send high school graduates to college, now there’s just as much emphasis on students moving on to trade schools and other specialty educations.
